Summerwar
Documentary feature - 78 min - 2019Jasmin and Jastrip, two 12-year old kids from Kiev, spend their summer in a military-style Azovez camp in Ukraine. Surrounded by war and rising nationalism, the camp offers them a 'patriotic education', playfully preparing them for the act of war. And while the kids struggle between serving their country and being a child, the camp slowly begins to change them, making them develop into something that alienates them from their former life.
